So, in accordance with security laws like HIPAA and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, LIBERTY Dental Plan will be encrypting all email containing sensitive information to protect our private and confidential electronic communications. We also do it because we respect the privacy of our customers and partners. Encryption is one way we’re taking responsibility to protect the sensitive information we share via the internet. We also want to extend the same courtesy to you, our valued customers. We believe we have found the right partner for email encryption, which can be complicated and costly. Powered by Proofpoint Encryption™ we worked to develop our email encryption service. Their solutions are tailored to fit our customers’ needs, implementation was seamless, and disruption to your and our operations is and will be minimal. Together, we developed an approach that protects our entire community of interest — our employees, our members and providers, and our business partners.

Please use the Secure Email Portal to transmit any email which contains any sensitive information such as PHI or PII to any @libertydentalplan.com email address. The setup is easy and will only take a minute or two to complete.
