Lisa has a passion to ensure that everyone has access to dental and medical care. She has been an attorney for over 30 years. She spent the first 10 years as a commercial litigator and made appearances in all 77 county courts as well as Federal and Tribal courts. She then moved into the public healthcare sector. She spent 19 years with the Oklahoma Health Care Authority starting as a contract attorney and finished her public career as the Chief Operating Officer of the multi-billion-dollar agency that at one time covered a million lives.
In 2018, Ms. Gifford shifted her career and became the President of CareWays of Oklahoma, which is a joint venture between HealthCare Highways and StratiFi Health, both from the Frisco area of Texas. Careways now employees 40 nurses and manages the health of over 230,000 lives. Starting new business ventures which focus on the health of Oklahomans has become her goal and the opportunity to do that for SoonerSelect members through Liberty Dental is the culmination of her working experience. Primary dental care is our focus and we intend to make a difference in Oklahoma, one smile at a time.

Successful project manager, prioritizing tasks and overseeing team performance while communicating openly with stakeholders to deliver on project goals. Knowledgeable in legal processes and regulatory requirements with direct experience advocating for legislative improvements.
