Misael comes to LIBERTY with extensive experience working directly with providers and overseeing healthcare practice operations. At SOMOS Community Care in New York City, Misael headed the PCMH implementation program that resulted in over 900 network providers achieving recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as Patient-Centered Medical Homes (PCMH). The PCMH program is a fundamental care model that focuses on transforming medical practices into medical homes in preparation for Value-Based Payment (VBP) arrangements. Misael has achieved top territory operations management and production goals at three Fortune 500 and one Fortune 100 companies in the financial, health insurance and pharmaceutical industries. Misael earned his Master of Arts in Business degree with an emphasis in management from Webster University. He holds a Group 1 Health Insurance License, as well as Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA) Series 7, 66, and 24. Misael is a veteran Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy with forward-deployed service aboard nuclear fast-attack submarines, AEGIS class guided-missile cruisers and aircraft carriers at sea. In 2017, Misael was Invested with the rank of Knight by the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem in Vatican City
