On September 2, 2025, Governor Newsom issued a State of Emergency Proclamation for the TCU Lightning Complex Fires, affecting Tuolumne County and Calaveras County. The multiple fires were started by a series of widespread thunderstorms that increased the spread and caused serious danger to people’s lives. This caused the state issued evacuation orders. As of this date, Liberty Dental Plan (Liberty) has not been impacted by this incident. The Plan does not expect to have any issues with our regular day to day operations. We will continue to be available to members. This includes after hours and on the weekend.
