LIBERTY Dental Plan provides free care to uninsured adults with Adult Dental Days

Reno, Nev. – Beginning this year, LIBERTY Dental Plan of Nevada (LIBERTY), in partnership with Community Health Alliance, will host a series of Adult Dental Days to address gaps in oral health coverage in the community. These free events will feature on-site dental screenings, fluoride varnish applications, select emergency services and more. Held at Community Health Alliance’s Sparks location at 2244 Oddie Boulevard., Adult Dental Days will take place on Tuesday, June 7, September 13, and December 6, 2022. Appointments for each day will begin at 7 a.m. and last until 4 p.m. Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made by emailing nvprevents@libertydentalplan.com.
“Access to care can be a real challenge, especially for those who are uninsured. LIBERTY is committed to helping close the gap in coverage in our community. We’re honored to partner with such a trusted healthcare provider. By bringing our resources together, we’ll be able to provide much needed dental care basics to our community,” said Lindsay Littlefield, president of LIBERTY Dental Plan of Nevada. “In partnering with Community Health Alliance, we hope hosting these events throughout the year will provide dental care for as many individuals as possible and give them additional resources.”

For those unable to make an appointment, a limited number of walk-ins will be seen for each event, as capacity allows. In addition to the free on-site dental care from the organizations, attendees will be able to learn more about available healthcare options. Community Health Alliance serves the northern Nevada region with affordable and accessible healthcare for all, including the unsheltered and underserved populations. They provide primary and pediatric care, dental care, behavioral health, low-cost pharmacies, and nutritious food pantries.
