Crusader Community Health receives the 2017 Center of Excellence Award from LIBERTY Dental Plan and is recognized by Illinois Senator Dave Syverson

LIBERTY Dental Plan is a full service dental benefits company that has been providing dental services to Medicaid beneficiaries across the U.S. since 2005 and in Illinois since 2014, when the State authorized the Medicaid dental managed care program.

LIBERTY is a patient focused dental program that recognizes that the best care comes from partnering with local dentists who believe in the same high standards of delivering quality and compassionate care for their patients.

 

Over the past two years, LIBERTY while working closely with their local dentists noticed there were some who consistently demonstrated above and beyond their commitment and dedication to quality care for those they serve; and now LIBERTY wishes to recognize these outstanding dental providers with our “Center of Excellence Award.”

 

LIBERTY selects “Centers of Excellence” award winners through a rigorous evaluation process including, but not limited to, reviews of office safety and compliance, appropriate and timely delivery of dental services, and high member satisfaction with care received.

 

This year Liberty is proud to recognize as its 2017 “Centers of Excellence” Award winner, Crusader Community Health. Crusaders high member satisfaction tells us a great deal about the compassionate and quality care Crusader patients receive” said Dr. Jason Grinter (Illinois LIBERTY Dental Director). Senator Dave Syverson, the senior member of the Senate Humans Services Committee said “I am grateful to Liberty Dental for the outstanding job they are doing in delivering quality compassionate dental care for our residents in Illinois. The fact that the Crusader dental program would be given this award doesn’t surprise those of us who are familiar with the excellent nationally recognized work that is done at Crusader”.

 

On February 10th, Senator Dave Syverson, Dr. Jason Grinter (Illinois LIBERTY Dental Director), and Judy Bowlby (LIBERTY Senior Manager Government Programs) presented the Center of Excellence Award to Gordon Eggers (Jr. President and CEO), Dr. Dina Girgis (Dental Department Chair) and Kathy Olson (Dental Director).

 

Crusader, through their 5 locations, served 50,350 individual patients and the dental needs of 13422 patients last year. Crusader is in its 45th year of providing services to the needs of families in Northern IL.
