American HealthGuard Dental Plan Members Join LIBERTY
IRVINE, CA (September 14, 2012) — LIBERTY Dental Plan of California, Inc. (LIBERTY) is pleased to announce that it is bringing aboard approximately 14,000 new members from American HealthGuard Dental Plan (AHG).
As of September 1st, 2012, the former AHG members, including approximately 9,300 Los Angeles PHP Medi-Cal members, will have their oral health benefits fully administered by LIBERTY, a California-based, Knox-Keene licensed Dental Plan.

The California Department of Managed Health Care approved the purchase and assignment to LIBERTY. AHG members and providers can call LIBERTY member services at 1-800-703-6999 for more information regarding this plan transfer.
