Spotlight on NJAHP Affiliates: LIBERTY Dental
NEW JERSEY – (NHAHP New Jersey Association of Health Plans) - In addition to our carrier members, NJAHP has a number of affiliate members including three dental carriers. This article is a spotlight on LIBERTY Dental Plan.
LIBERTY, headquartered in Irvine, California, with operational centers in Las Vegas and Tampa, is a privately held company founded in 2001 by a dentist and serving over three million members nationwide. LIBERTY’s lines of business include government-sponsored coverage (Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP), large commercial, individual, and Taft Hartley groups.
LIBERTY currently partners with WellCare in New Jersey to offer dental coverage to WellCare’s members through a statewide contracted network of general and specialty dentists.
LIBERTY’s stated mission “is to be the industry leader in increasing dental health awareness with the utmost focus on improving our member's oral health outcomes across their lifespan. We recognize that Wellness Programs and Disease Management support overall physical and oral health.
