LIBERTY Sponsors Second Annual Tooth Fairy Convention

On behalf of the Board of Directors and professional staff at The Los Angeles Trust for Children’s Health (The L.A. Trust), I wish to thank you for your generous sponsorship of our second annual Tooth Fairy Convention which was held on Saturday, February 11, 2017. As shared by everyone in attendance, the event was another tremendous success, and it certainly would not have been possible without you!

This year, an estimated 1,000 individuals braved the rain and cool weather to participate in the oral health activities offered by a variety of The L.A. Trust’s notable partners. Children and adults alike received free, on-site screenings offered by six dental service providers, and 11 educational partners disseminated powerful information that informed on the importance of good dental hygiene and proper nutrition. The event also offered the opportunity for individuals and families to learn about the insurance enrollment process as well as where to locate their closest dental provider. Additionally, young attendees enjoyed the youth activity area which featured bounce houses and face painting; and all enjoyed the free health food buffet, LADWP Water Wagon, great prizes, giveaways, tooth fairies, kid friendly celebrities, live music and so much more!

The L.A. Trust is truly committed to delivering a successful and integrated oral health model across the Los Angeles Unified School District and its communities in an effort to prevent disease, identify and treat dental caries early, and ensure that any individual with an urgent dental care need has access to immediate treatment.
